Dark Mode Introduction
From a couple of times, the Dark Mode option is in a highly in-demand feature. People have been supporting a dark mode feature in apps or software. Basically, it comes with many positive impacts on our eyes, brain, health, and battery as well. Therefore you can hope many positive things with dark mode, and it has a very less amount of drawbacks or maybe not a single one, but some users may find it disturbing because it changes the whole color scheme of the program.
What Exactly is Dark Mode?
Basically, it’s a useful feature that works on a straightforward phenomenon. It inverts the color scheme of the program converting white background to black and black text to white. You often find a night mode or blur light feature in apps that work on the same concept, but its working is entirely different.
Night mode protects your eyes and filters out the blue light from the display, which makes the screen reddish or yellowish and gives your eyes comfort. But the problem with it is that it disturbs the whole color scheme of a program which is the biggest drawback of using night light.
Dark Mode works like an alternative for the night light or blue light remover. It changes all the white background into a black one and converts the whole theme into a black style. Which reduces the amount of blue light-emitting from your screen. This mode doesn’t disturb the entire contents on the screen, as you can see in the picture. It is much useful than using a night light.
Benefits of using Dark Mode
This mode has a lot of benefits, as it converts the screen into a blackish tone which enough reduces the emission of blue light from your display to make your eyes more comfortable. It also plays a significant role in reducing the strain from your eyes. Using this feature can reduce and even null the headache, blurred vision, weak eyesight, insomnia, retina damage, eye cancer, and other dangers. These all dangerous kinds of stuff are caused by blue light emitting from your display to your eyes, but using this mode fixes those issues.
You can use some plug-ins or other third-party apps that deliver the dark mode feature on even non-dark mode supported application. But using these plug-ins or form will make the display ugly and worst looking because it inverts the entire content on the screen and even the logo and images on the screen. Therefore it is better to add the dark mode in the app’s code, which will optimize for that particular application.
