Windows 10 “Redstone 4” build 17004 has been available for a few days already for Skip Ahead users in the Fast Ring (all the strange terminologies are well explained in our dedicated article ), but only today it has been discovered that it includes, as it works only partially, a very anticipated and anticipated feature of the power user: the universal multi-device clipboard and synchronized to cloud .
It does not really work
The panel activates, but only shows default, facade content – mock-ups in short.
It is called by pressing instead of the usual CTRL + V, WIN + V combo (for those who use a virtual keyboard there is a special button).
Copied items are ordered from the most recent to the oldest, and there is a small icon that lets you figure out whether it’s local content or stored in the cloud. There does not seem to be an obvious way to delete items that you do not want to keep online.
There is not much to say
The service is still evidently dull and lacking many basic details to form a precise opinion. We hope to find out more in the coming months and that it is actually distributed with Redstone 4, not later.
